Engineer, producer, composer, and educator, Jason, originally from Mountain Home Arkansas, trained as a music engineer at the University of Miami in south Florida, became an audio systems engineer for Delco Electronics, designing car audio systems, eventually making his way to Nashville Tennessee. There he, has toured as a keyboard player for Blake Shelton, Blaine Larsen, and Steve Holy, and produced for some of the greatest Nashville songwriters including Jason Blume (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys), Gary Burr (Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Reba McIntire), and Catt Gravitt (Jake Owen, Natalie Grant).
He worked on the Grammy award winning children’s album “Songs from the Neighborhood: The Music of Mr. Rogers”.
Jason Blume included him in an article Jason Blume wrote for BMI where he asked my opinion on the changing “soundscape” production trends: BMI Article: What’s Hot…Instrumentation.
He currently teaches audio and production at Belmont University in Nashville TN, as well as writes and produces for a number of music production libraries, including Warner Chappel, and Adrenalin Music.
